Here are the answers to some questions you may have. If there is anything you do not see the answer to please feel free to contact us on our contact page.

Q: What is the best way to store my maple syrup?

A: You should store your syrup in a cool dry place before it is opened. Once you have opened it, you should then make sure your syrup is refrigerated.

Q: I would love a tour to see how your syrup is made. What is the best time to come visit?

A: We are open on the weekends starting in mid February until the first week in April. We are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please note that the sap needs to be flowing from the trees and a supply of sap on hand in order to fire up our wood fired operation, so please call ahead if you are planning on visiting us for the best experience.

Q: Do you have other events at the Sugar Shack?

A: We sure do! We have a set up at a local farmers market during the summer season with a wide variety of maple products. We also have an open house every year on the first Saturday in March from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Q: Do you stop selling your product at the end of the sugaring season?

A: Our maple products are available to you year round!

Q: Do you offer group tours?

A:  Yes, upon request we do special tours for large groups such as school classes, boy scouts, cub scouts and girl scouts. These special tours are done during the day Monday through Friday.
